Transitional living is appropriate for people with complex recovery issues that require a little more time and focus on the priorities identified in primary treatment.
Our services allow for more in depth time on special issues, mental health complications, relapse prevention and sober living skills.
We provide individuals with the time to practice their new recovery skills, and gain a deeper understanding of what they need to do to recover. The primary goal is to help develop the skills necessary to maintain an emotional, vocational, social, physical and spiritual balance in sober living.
Sober Homes represent transitional housing for those in recovery who wish to live in a safe, sober environment. Each of the Transition Homes residences provide comfortable and safe accommodations. Residents are afforded a degree of personal freedom and comfort in order to begin rebuilding their lives in recovery.
Cornerstone Recovery Program represents a more structured environment for those who have been discharged from inpatient treatment. Group peer meetings, study groups, along with a higher level of structure and accountability are important aspects of this unique program.
SOS (Sustaining Ongoing Sobriety) Education classes are also available and focus on many areas of the client’s life, ranging from social and family relationships, personal and professional goals, health/fitness, spirituality, and life stressors, to resume writing, job placement, time/money management, and independent living skills.
Transitions Outpatient Program provides outpatient services to individuals who have been negatively affected by drug and alcohol abuse. Services include individual and group counselling, assessment, and education for clients and their families.
